Chief Nursing Officer – Chambers Health is in search of a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). The CNO will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is part of the Administrative Team. The candidate should have advanced knowledge of nursing theories and practices, well developed leadership and management abilities, including developing and managing a nursing budget. The ability to occasionally work alongside, as well as work with staff to develop staff capabilities, competencies, and confidence will be critically important for the successful candidate. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
The successful candidate should possess 3 to 5 years prior experience as a CNO/DON in a rural hospital setting (other hospital management experience may be acceptable); a Master’s degree in nursing is required. Nursing experience and/or supervisory experience in the following areas is desired: Med/Surg, ER, OR, and/or Swing Bed. Candidate must be a Registered Nurse currently licensed by the State of Texas and must hold a current CPR certificate. Candidate is responsible for proper planning and allocation of resources under their control to include preparing and monitoring of the annual operating budget and objectives consistent with the Chambers Health strategic plan.
Maintenance Technician – Chambers Health is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to perform various duties assisting the maintenance and repair of Chambers Health facilities; Bayside Community Hospital, Bayside Clinic, The Wellness Center at Bayside, and West Chambers Medical Center. The position requires the ability to walk and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds, in addition to pushing/pulling up to 500 pounds. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a must. We are a drug free workplace and campuses are tobacco free.
Medical Assistant – Chambers Health, through its outpatient clinic sites, Bayside Clinic in Anahuac and West Chambers Medical Center in Mont Belvieu, is recruiting for a full time Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Applicant must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced medical clinic, while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude in all dealings with patients, families, visitors, and co-workers.
Patient Service Representative – Chambers Health is recruiting for a full-time front desk registration clerk. Applicant must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced outpatient registration office, while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude in all dealings with patients, families, visitors, and co-workers. Prior front office experience and bilingual preferred. Must be able to travel to other Chambers Health locations as needed.
Quality Management/Infection Preventionist Registered Nurse – Bayside Community Hospital is looking for a Quality Manager and Infection Preventionist responsible for the integrity of quality, safety, and service data related to CMS and other federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Obtain and analyze clinical data to identify and recommend process improvement opportunities, review data, identify trends, report findings, oversee and coordinate core measures and other related programs. As Infection Preventionist, responsible for gathering and analyzing infection data to recommend evidence-based decisions, educate medical and public health professionals and serve as internal resource for infection control. A working knowledge of ICP is desirable but ICP experience is not a must.

Use critical thinking skills, clinical expertise, and judgement along with established medical criteria to perform first level clinical review for select procedures and admissions that require medical necessity authorization. Previous utilization management and case management experience is preferred.
